Day 2 Labuhan Bajo - Rinca - Kalong Island
In the morning we will know the captain of our boat who will accompany us during this short trip of the day in the heart of Rinca National Park. You embark on a boat fitted comfortably into the deep to reach the island of Rinca for a guided walk.

Though smaller and less touristy than Komodo, Rinca contains a fauna and flora more varied, and a colony of 1,300 monitor lizards. Half an hour of landing, after passing along a mangrove forest, you reach the camp at Loh Buaya PHPA. This is where you will be surrounded by monitor lizards that can be seen during a hike through the savannah, which make a strong impression. The trip provided more surprises, including water buffaloes, colonies of monkeys, deer, wild horses, wild boar, turkeys, eagles…

The monitor lizards are the “stars” uncontested Komodo. They are easily seen near the Timor deer (Cervus Timorense) their favorite prey. The island is home to many other animal species: land crabs, wild pigs, long-tailed macaques, drongos, megapode birds, eagles and monkeys blagres cockatoos, the latter proving that the region belongs to the world wildlife Austral - Asian.

All onboard meals are included in the estimate. By late afternoon, you will see thousands of bats (Kalong), huge red giant bats to go off feed. Spend the night on your boat (minimum comfort but picturesque insured).

Day 3 Kalong Island - Labuan Bajo - Denpasar
